We recommend avoiding exposure to salt and chlorinated water, and chemicals such as household cleaners as this may tarnish or damage your jewellery. It is best to avoid contact with soaps, shampoos and perfumes where possible.
Plated items such as gold and rhodium are best removed before contact with any water to help preserve the colour and luster.
Gently clean and polish your jewellery with a polish cloth to bring back it back to life. In some cases, your item may need a cleaning solution which can be found at most jewellers.
Gold and Rhodium plating will gradually wear down through normal wear of the jewellery. This can result in the underlying sterling silver peeking through. Whilst some people love this finish, if you are concerned you can visit most jewellers to get a quote on re-plating your item.
